@Hoggirl love ALL of the shoes and boots. I’ve really have been coveting a pair of sock booties. We have winter and snow where I live so I’ve come to terms that all I wear in the winter are practical snow boots that I don’t slip on the snow in. Makes me very sad actually.
So living vicariously with those really cute boots you bought
@Hoggirl , are your black coated WHBM jeans from a few years ago, with fun zippers placed throughout? $100. If so, I bought those too and just love them? I bought a pair of leopard peep toe booties I can’t wait to wear them with. I like your styling tips, too.
What are your thoughts on the “balloon-“ or “bishop-“ sleeved sweaters that are out there? I am not a fan. I don’t like flowy/billowy with a knit - especially a sweater knit. And, especially since so many sweaters are such a fine-gauge (in other words, thin) these days. Example:
I don’t know if you can see it, but the sleeves are bigger and cinch in at the wrist. It’s cute, it was cheap. I thought it would be fun to wear something very trendy for not very much.
Here is a famous painting depicting the princess dancing and waiving her long sleeves where she strategically stuffed some bones after the feast… the bones went flying in the air and turned into swans as she waived her arms. I don’t think I will be able to repeat the swans, but I guarantee that if I went dancing in a bell-sleeved dress after having a dinner, something would be flying out of those sleeves… sorry, not swans. More like food scooped in them on accident. ?
I don’t like Bishop sleeves. @deb922 , I love your sweater and don’t think it looks like a Bishop sleeve to me. I did like the bell sleeve (not too exaggerated), but knew it would last one season, which it pretty much did. I ended up buying one that was really cute great length at, of all places, CVS! $15. I wore it quite a bit.
