Mom60, I have that shoe is suede, in blue and in black. Very comfy and great for travel.
@bookworm I have it in gray suede, it’s several years old but I have worn them on trips where I wanted to look nice but did a lot of walking. It’s a great shoe in that it looks nice from the outside but it’s like a running shoe on the inside. If I remember correctly when it first came out it was a colab of Cole Haan and Nike.

Has anyone used or heard of these before? I’m thinking of trying them for fashion sneakers. Kind of pricey, but I don’t care what no show socks I put on, they always come off my heel after a few hours. I like Zella as they are so thin. Boombas aren’t as thin, at least the ones I found.

I have a friend who loves Birdies. I feel like they are too slipper-ish looking.
@conmama i have the same problem with most no show socks. I’m super picky about socks and find most socks rub near my pinky toe. I like Smartwool brand socks the best. They have a no show loafer style liner. I do have some Converse brand no show socks that one of my kids left here and they work decent in a pair of Converse all stars. They are a bit thick so don’t work with a lot of my shoes. I prefer a thin sock and I’ve found some Nike no show socks that are left and right foot labeled that I find stay on.
I’m meeting a friend at an outlet mall half way between our two cities today. I haven’t been in a brick and mortar store in awhile. I’m excited to actually see clothing in person versus only online. First stop is going to be the AG denim store, I’m looking for a light denim pair of jeans. I also want to check out a new store Faherty. I’ve not heard of the brand but my daughter said they have some nice things. This center usually is pretty busy with a lot of foreign visitors so it will be interesting to see if the Corona Virus has decreased the number of shoppers.
I like Rothy flats and the Cole Haan Zerogrand shoe, but my feet don’t. I am a supinator and need a more supportive shoe. I’ve really had good luck with the M.Gemi platform sneaker (I posted a link above). I also like these Cole Haan sneakers:

@conmama I have never heard of those! I would definitely consider them though as I do not have much luck with any kind of no show socks and some shoes just seem like they would be so much better with a liner.

Shopping trip report-
Did some damage at my first stop AG Adriano Goldschmied 2 pairs of lighter washed jeans, 4 sleeveless T shirts, 1 shirt sleeve t shirt. T shirts were 50% off the outlet price https://www.agjeans.com/the-ryker-tank-LXY70758TRY.html?dwvar_LXY70758TRY_color=TRY I got this in 4 colors for spring and summer. They were under $20.00. Jeans were buy one get 2nd 50% off. It’s an outlet but I’ve always found the quality at this store to be the same as the items I’ve bought at Nordstrom and Anthropologie. Plus the staff is great and so helpful.
The Faherty store was too young
Johnny Was outlet- got a long sleeve heavily embroidered T and a summer short sleeve top
Also checked out the Lululemon outlet but the selection was weak.
Those were the only stores we went in but it was great to be out shopping.

I had an ad for Taos sneakers on my Instagram that made me take a look. I noticed they seem to come with padding that can be taken out. This is their claim:

@mom60 , looks like you had a great day! I’ve decided to keep my Cole Haan lace up’s. However, not sure if I will take them to Italy or not. I don’t have a cute fashion white sneaker to kick around in at home , so my just keep them for that.
I might just take a pair of pink G by Guess sneakers I bought last year. Someone above mentioned their pink sneakers and it reminded me I had some. More than likely I won’t be wearing them during the trip touring because I’d rather wear my sandals. But these would look cute with several dresses I’m taking in case it rained (and on the plane) Plus, my older S actually complimented them, and my boys never talk about my wardrobe.
But it’s good just to have a pair of white for the summer!

I haven’t bought any clothes, but before this all hit I bought these sneakers. I was looking for something very comfy and youthful. I was able to wear them a few times before staying at home, and got comments twice. I can’t wait to wear them with white jeans, or shorts. I wore with black jeans and they looked great.
My H said, “well those are really gold”. My son said, “hey, I really like those, you should keep them”. So I kept them.
I ordered one of the scarves. It’s not here yet- not that I need it in my house! Those are really cute @conmama . Are they comfortable? You’ll get a lot of wear out of them.
