drop spanish for intern?

i have an opportunity to intern for ky state government, but i would have to take a special class at school. the only way to fit it in would be to drop a class. the only class that i can drop is spanish. should i drop it after only having two years? by the way, i’m planning in majoring in political science. Thanks in advance…

spanish has nothing to do with political science. i say go for it!

check with the schools you are applying to. Some schools (like Duke) require 3 years of a foreign language.

hmm maybe u can arrange to take spanish at ur local CC in lieu of taking it at school, that way you can show colleges that u took a 3rd year of lang and u interned, they’ll be impressed that you went out of your way to do this

Thanks for responding… i researched some courses offered at the nearby college and i can take spanish this summer and do the intern throughout the year… Thanks again!

no prob…good luck w/your internship!
