Ok so I’ve decided that after one semester of Computer Science, I’ve had enough. I’ve decided to “drop out” for another course, but there is one qualm I have. In the student handbook, it says that Computer Science 1 is a fall course and Computer Science 2 is a spring course. I’ve taken Computer Science 1 and I’ve decided that I would rather take another class after the semester is over. The problem is, when I got my schedule it just says “Computer Science”, implying that it’s a year-long course. In order to take Computer Science 2, you had to take the first semester, and I’m wondering how bad it will look if I “dropped a class” after a semester even though the student handbook clearly says it’s a fall class?

bumpity bump bump

70 views and nobody knows? :(

Dropping a class really doesn’t look too bad, why do you think it’d hurt you so much?

It’s not a big deal. As long as you take an academic class for the dropped class, colleges won’t care.

Oh. Well my friend was like “*** you’re dropping a class? That’s gonna look horrible” and I was like “uhh” so I wanted to make sure it wasn’t that bad.

my friend just dropped ap calc yesterday. she gets a WF on her transcript.

hm… just explain that you lost intrest, i’m sure they’ll understand.

oh ok. thanks!
