Wow, this story has sure blown up since this morning - I was out of town all day and just catching up.
Disgusted. I mentioned above that we have watched the show on a fairly regular basis - admittedly, just a piece of reality tv we chuckled at from week to week - now, just disgusted and angry at the secrets.
I don’t understand why “we” haven’t heard about this before now, why allegations haven’t been made public before now considering the contents of that timeline above. How did the allegations keep getting swept under the rug?!
Re: Josh’s wife Anna. I don’t think she out of her teenage years upon marrying Josh. Seriously, to think that her parents listened to Josh/Jim Bob explain about Josh’s history and that they gave blessings for their TEEN DAUGHTER to continue to court and marry him?! How about the newest members of the family - Jill and Jessa’s husbands - were they told? More to jump on the bandwagon??
All I can say is RUN JANA RUN! She has always seemed so sweet and reserved - just in a different way. Someone needs to take that girl by the hand, find her a college and let her live her life!

The Duggars have not just said being gay is a sin, they have routinely said that LGBT people are child molesters, deviants, who can’t be trusted with kids and all the other bilge of the religious right, when they themselves raised a child molestor and let him pray on their own daughters. Even if the Duggars were merely anti LGBT I would call them on their crap, because their holier than thou piousness is something I personally despise, people who are like them are first class phonies, pure and simple, you live into your faith, you don’t go around bragging about it the way those idiots do. But really, these people are delusional. No, I don’t think religion caused this in any way and I don’t think god is up their condoning this. I do think religion can bring out a side of very broken people that helps them explain away all of their “problems”… easier than admitting that they are just really terrible people.

What makes anyone really think Anna was told the whole truth? I think she is caught up in the reality TV limelight and going along to get along. I would take my kids and be out of there so quickly.
