Snooki makes dig at Anna Duggar while ignoring her own husband’s Ashley Madison account…
Dumb and Dumber!
I don’t know why everyone is coming down with such harsh judgments on this young woman who is likely still reeling from the shock.
Hillary has known about Bill’s actions for 25 years and gets little criticism for it.
How can you compare Hillary Clinton with Anna Duggar???
I don’t see any criticism of Anna here.
+1 to oldmom.
Anyone who thinks Anna and HIllary are in similar situations are out of their flippin’ minds. Hillary has options and chose to stay. I sincerely doubt that Anna can make the same choice. Hillary had a career and could easily support herself on her own. Anna… not so much.
As much we we all have a little haha moment when someone gets caught, if you go to the tech sites, the security bloggers, Wired, and others, there is much conviction that any original supposed “member” data released is now mixed with plenty of bogus.
Eg, AM claims they never stored credit card numbers, only the card companies’ transaction ids. One idea is others offering this “data dump” are latching on for their own gain, possibly using info found elsewhere.
At this point, just saying. I dunno. None of us do. We can only watch the guys and gals who have more of a finger on this.
For all his moral failings, Bill Clinton is not a professonal moralist.
@oldmom4896:
Exactly, I have heard more than a few on the religious right side of things when talking about Josh Duggar calling this “liberal hypocrisy” since they didn’t get on Bill Clinton, that they only get on someone who is conservative…and of course, totally missing the point that the Duggars held themselves up as these moral arbiters, they said foul things about ‘gays and sexual deviates’, etc, and as Ben Franklin said, people in glass houses…it was similar to what I heard when the priestly abuse scandal broke out, how people were attacking the church but ignoring pedophile teachers allowed to teach, etc…the point is that Bill Clinton never put himself out as a moral leader, claimed any moral superiority, and schools are not religious institutions claiming moral authority, either, which the church of cause was/is. When people who proclaim to know the moral truth. live it, stumble, they are going to have a hard fall, compared to someone like Clinton who as far as I can tell, never went around proclaiming how Jesus saved his soul or told others how to live.
And he didn’t get off entirely free, either.
Of course Clinton held himself out as a moral leader, first as governor, then as president. Clinton campaigned with many religious leaders and asked for their endorsements. He had affairs or at least encounters with those employed by him or who he had power over, which is a violation of actual rules of office and his marriage vows, not just the latter as in Josh’s case. And he wasn’t 25 years old he was 45. At least Josh admitted it without the need for a congressional inquiry. Bill denied it until he could deny it no more. Some leader.
I think Josh believes the moral line he preaches he just can’t achieve it, much like the smoker knows he shouldn’t smoke or the gambler knows he shouldn’t gamble. I don’t think Josh believes what he did was okay, he believes it is wrong.
You can argue that Hillary had a choice because she had money. I’d argue Anna deserves the same right to choose and she has had offers to help her leave if that’s what she wants to do. She’s 25 years old with 4 children. Give her a chance to decide what to do. Maybe she’ll decide, as Hillary seems to have, that life is better with the cheater than alone. Why is it wrong for her to make that choice when we’ve all allowed Hillary and the other political wives to be The Good Wife? All the sports figures to work it out with their cheating spouses? All the other AMadison clients to work it out with their spouses?
Please don’t turn this into a political thread that will get closed.
And he checks into rehab:

JB and Michelle’s latest statement:
“As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son’s decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.”
“Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center,” continues the statement. “For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change. In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future. During this time we continue to look to God – He is our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.”
I wonder if it is a real rehab facility or another one of the Duggar’s special treatment centers?
^^^ I was thinking the same thing.
I am similarly uncomfortable with the language about the counseling (?) Anna will receive.
^^I was also wondering about the type of counseling Anna would receive.
I don’t think her husband had a choice but to go for rehab. I think the couple needed some time away from each other and this was the only option. This would keep him out of the limelight.
