Financial aid is not available yet. The tab says that when you click on it. Well at least mine does.

@clueless96 You can get to it from the page that immediately opens up when you log in. It’s two tabs down from the “Decision” tab. It’s on the very end and says “financial aid”.

@clueless96 - be ready to show the reasons as to why you think they made a boo-boo in the aid. Appealing also shows a strong inclination to attend the school, so go for it if Duke is your # 1.
@IfnousWHO My desired EFC was about 11-12k USD, but Duke wants me to pay 39k USD. That is ridiculous! In fact the net price calculators show my EFC to be around 13k USD, so I cannot understand where they got 39k from.
Accepted officially today (I received a likely letter a while back), but I have to say that Duke’s financial aid didn’t really wow me. It wasn’t the worse that I’ve received this year, but it isn’t the best either (received WAY more from Johns Hopkins). Overall, I’m still considering Duke, but I don’t think it’s my top choice.
Oh wow they were very generous for financial aid - almost completely paid for with a minimal contribution from me from my summer job.
Follow up with them. Did your FAFSA and CSS match your net price calculator in terms of EFC?
@yoyo27 actually it costs 73k according to that “estimated” cost page on my portal. I’m international so + health insurance and sevis fee
