As an international applicant, we are required to take a language proficiency test. So is taking the Duolingo test of any help? How does it compare with TOEFL/IELTS? I am short on money so opted on taking DTE. Is duolingo considered of equal caliber as of TOEFL/IELTS? What is a good DTE score? How is a score of 95 on DTE?
What a college requires depends upon the college. But if a college requires TOEFL/IELTS, it is unlikely that they will accept Duolingo. But you need to ask the colleges yourself.
