Oh wow. If that’s the case I’ve got a lot of mental preparation to do tonight!

I am 99% sure it will be tomorrow. Dean J’s post last Friday was nearly identical to the one she made last year one week before they released EA decisions. It’s in-line with releasing on the 2nd or 3rd Friday of January as they have the past two years, and with MLK Day Monday they could have a nice, relaxing three day weekend before heading back to the office and handling frantic EA applicants and beginning the RD process. Also Dean J tweeted she was going to Richmond for something related to education, and I doubt they would lose a reader if there were still more than just a few apps left to read.

Not that I’ve thought about this or anything. I just really want my decision.

hi, i am an international student from PRC. i am an EA applicant too! it seems that UVA take an unusual long time to review apps. does anyone know for sure when the results will be released?

Dean J will post release day on her blog. Here is the link: [Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process](http://uvaapplication.blogspot.com)

awesome.

If that is the case, good luck to everyone!

Can you believe they let me leave Peabody?

To be honest, I’m surprised I could go to the General Assembly. January is probably the busiest month of the year for us! We all have responsibilities to which we have to attend during reading season, though. A lot of your schools plan college nights in January and ask admissions folks to come and speak. There are times when I’m in NoVa for a week in January, reading in a hotel and speaking at programs every night.

@Dean J- Is today the day? Please just a yes or no… Too excited!

Give me a chance to get into the office and see where we are.

@Dean J I am an EA applicant but I take sat in December and send the score to UVa in Dec, 27 so can this score be useful in my EA application?

@Bobcat - DeanJ is probably very busy so I’ll try to help you out. UVa ‘accepts’ scores at any time, they are received electronically and matched with your file. The issue is timing here. By late December an EA application has most certainly received a first read, if not a second. There’s no guarantee the file will be reviewed with the higher scores. Here’s the up side, in the event you are deferred to Regular Decision new higher test scores will most certainly be considered and may help you, so sending them is worthwhile.

I hope this helps. Best of luck. I know everyone is anxious for decisions! :)

Super nervous

Yeah I just want to know when they’re releasing decisions

In addition to her blog Dean J will announce when decisions will be released on Facebook (Notes from Peabody, the U.Va. Admission Blog) and Twitter (@UVaDeanJ).

Thanks a lot. It is a big relief

DeanJ just tweeted that there will be an Early Action update later today, and a Class of 2018 Facebook page was just linked from the Notes from Peabody Facebook page. Maybe decisions today?

Dean J just posted on her admissions blog! Decisions come out tonight, after school is over!

Log into your SIS accounts later tonight

From past experience, any idea what time in the evening that they are released? Good luck to all!

Historically decisions have been available on SIS around 5pm…

However, this question was asked on her blog and Dean J stated IT was in control of this and she couldn’t promise an exact time.

What am I going to do for the next three hours?
