Some browsers will cache the page on not give you the most recent update … normally hitting refresh though works. You can always try a different browser on your computer if one isn’t working right at the time people are seeing acceptances.

Does anyone know when merit scholarships/financial aid awards will come out? I am hoping it will come with the admissions decisions, but I don’t know. For the Virginians, have you heard anything regarding timelines for the Pamplin Leadership Award?
I am hoping for the same. Although based on some of last year’s posts, my hopes aren’t high on a lot of money coming our way. Somebody said they got $86. LOL
86??? What does that cover? A night in a cheap hotel for the admitted students session?

@cbl1 from what I can tell when the student clicks on their guest account there is no “status update” just Admitted or Declined or Waitlist written on the page with all the info? No letter like most schools?
Feb 22, correct? Confused about “Today is the day” posted on 2/21. This is the last piece of the puzzle for our daughter. OOS, 5 other acceptances in hand, one wait list and one rejected.
They posted on Twitter that decisions will come out today after 5pm

I wish this was the last for us. We still have 3 more and a deferred to deal with. :-/ But, as an Alumni, this is the one I’m the most excited about. 
They tweeted yesterday that decisions would be posted to the portal at 5pm today.
It will be on the page where it shows their information and had the SCAR received section below that. The decision info will pop up in between those section.
Yes I was surprised it just had info on decision and link to accept. Also a link to financial aid information. I was surprised that when you clicked on acceptance link it didn’t pop up with a printable letter or something. It does eventually come in the mail though.
This is our last one and fingers crossed she gets in. So far she is batting 100% with acceptances so it would be crazy if this were the one she doesn’t get.
Assuming she gets in I think it is going to be between Virginia Tech and Georgia. We are going to visit Georgia March 27th.
@cbl1 Thanks. So I guess if the student is denied it just says Denied and that’s it. VT certainly does things differently all the way around. Luckily for my son, he has gotten into 7 schools and VT is not really his number 1 But still on his radar. Georgia is fantastic but I guess the distance would be a big thing . I’m sure she will get in if she got EA to UGA. My son is leaning Uof SC or NC State Good Luck to everyone today
I have a friend that got into their grad school last week and she got a PDF letter from however she received her decision. Might be different but who knows!
