My daughter was accepted and given a merit scholarship.
D20 accepted with a merit scholarship and direct admit to Daniels.
accepted w/ direct admit to daniels and 23k in merit!!
My D20 got in, but she’s at work, so I’m getting sketchy details lol
I think she got the Chancellor’s scholarship, which is $26k + plus the $3k residence hall grant. I assume she got direct admit to Daniels.
My daughter got in and applied as a test optional applicant.
Daughter got in with Chancellors Merit ($26K + $3K)
4.3 GPA, 31 ACT (Superscore)
Good ECs (including some national level ones)
We are from MD. My son got in (Engineering) as University Scholar - $20k in merit plus the $3k for housing. His GPA is 3.73, 1440 SAT, 2 sports for 4 years, Model UN & several AP’s. 2 of his friends with slightly higher grades were awarded the Chancellors Scholarship.
Daughter accepted with Dean’s Scholarship ($22k merit + $3k r/b)
Applied under test optional with 4.3 gpa
Son was accepted with the Provost Scholarship ($24k + $3k housing)!! He’s between swim practice and student council so we’ll be able to celebrate later tonight.
He “intends” to double major in International Studies and Economics.
Son accepted with merit scholarship, although he isn’t home and didn’t give us any specifics yet.
S20 accepted w/Centennial scholarship (14K + 3K residence) & direct admit to Daniels.
2.77 uw GPA (looong story… twice exceptional)/1430 SAT (1 take), long term ECs.
We still have to hear from a few more schools, but unless she gets one of the long shot full tuition scholarships she’s applying for, my guess is that she will choose DU. She id interested in the Pioneer Leadership program.
We are from MN- where are the prospective DU students from?
@Coun2316 We are in ND. S20 has been heavily involved in student leadership, and is also considering Pioneer Leadership Program. He would love to hear that PLP is moving into he new Diamond residence hall. He wasn’t a big fan of JMac. Ha!!
Definitely want to learn more about the new First Year Resident Hall and how to get in there. Hope to learn about it during admitted students visit.

@roper1313 - are you saying the PLP WILL be in the new residence hall, or just that your son is hoping it is? I know everyone will want the new dorm.
We will definitely have to do an admitted students session - we visited very early in the process because we happened to be in Denver - I think the campus improvements will be a big factor in my daughter’s decision.
