I am an international student that wants to apply to universities in Ontario but I still did not do the sat subject test , I registered for November, and my sat 1 score is not that good so I am sitting for it again. can I apply for fall admission ( which closes this November ) and notify my university with my scores ? or do I just wait for winter admission. cause I genuinely donnot know the difference between fall and winter admission
The fall semester (semester 1) runs from September to December and the winter semester (semester 2) runs from January to April. Most students enrol for admission beginning in semester 1 in September.
Admissions decisions for fall enrolment usually happen between March-May, though the application deadlines will be earlier (January for domestic students). It maybe possible to gain admission for the winter semester beginning in January, but only if you will already have graduated high school before the semester begins. Also not all schools offer winter admissions.
Fall admission doesn’t close in November. It barely opens in October.
