I sent in my skidmore application about a month ago, but just yesterday decided that I want to switch it to early decision 2, since its really the only school that i would love to go to. Would switching to ed2 affect the amount of money the school offered me in aid, since id be committed to going there regardless of the amount of the package?</p>
<p>It may depend on the school. Some schools have noted that you can bail out of early decision if you don’t get financial aid. Most, however, will not allow that as an excuse. That is the big problem with ED. You are locked in. Why should they give you any merit scholarships?</p>
