<p>I got into NU ED and rescinded all of my apps that I had out (I think I had 4 or 5 out). But I guess somehow UC Berkeley didn’t get my request to rescind and I got an e-mail last night saying my decision will be out next Thursday night. </p>
<p>I would prefer to rescind it, but do I have to? Not sure if they’ll be able to process it by then at this point.</p>
<p>Just let it go, if you get in you can decline and if not who cares you’re going to NU. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.</p>
<p>Some schools ignore the rescinding letters. Binghamton routinely does this.</p>
<p>I think you should again let Berkeley know that you won’t be attending there as a courtesy… Same thing happened to my son last year (ED) and he did email the school again just to clarify everything…</p>
<p>i got the email notification too but when i tried using my uc id number, (that i had already rescinded), it was invalid meaning i am no longer a valid applicant</p>
