<p>I know the Gates scholarship application isn’t due until January 1st, 2014 but if I were to submit it today might I hear back from them sooner than if I were to submit it on Jan 1?</p>
<p>No, the deadline may be in January 2014, but submitting it beforehand won’t affect anything. They only gather and read all of the completed applications that were turned in prior to the deadline.</p>
