Eastern Mediterranean University

Does anyone know anything about the Eastern Mediterranean university? I’ve been researching colleges in Cyprus and found this university. It sounds like a good deal, but does anyone have first hand experience with it?

Thanks!

Maybe for a semester abroad…not for your full degree work. Fascinating location, interesting & heated politics, friendly people, crossroads to Middle East and Europe: either side of the line. Great opportunities in archeology and major modernization process underway. In the north you have Islam and Turkish and in the south Greek, the EU, and orthodoxy. You can walk streets in the old town where you hear the call to prayer and church bells at the same time. Study in the states and then travel.

cyprus college is pretty good for cypriot standards.

Someone else told me about Cyprus College… Jake, what makes it good? I really want to go to college in Cyprus, so any option is worth looking into :)

Thanks

Hi
Are you still interested in EMU? My brother has graduated from there, and I have visited the university for a few times. It has a nice campus and the quality of academics is high as far as I know. However, I can
t say the same thing for its student profile. Generally, people who can
t get into a good college in Turkey get into EMU. It is not selective and do not forget that you will study in a country that is not recognized globally( only Turkey and Azerbaijan recognize Turkish republic of North Cyprus ). However, I love Magosa, the city where EMU is located. Lots of historical places like castles, ruins and churches.
