<p>1) college is a small unit that caters for undergraduate studies. Uni is a larger institution which normally houses the college and other professional schools like engineering, medicine, etc. in US, college and uni are used interchangably. </p>
<p>2) almost all school require SAT. some, however has made it optional. Chec with the schools you’re iunterested in.
3) depends. some start only in september, some start at all four seasons.
4) not in a position to answer this.</p>
<p>Credit transfers are done at the discretion of each school’s registrar. Each school has different guidelines for what credit they do and do not accept for transfer, so it is hard to give a general answer here. The common-sense answer would be that credits are far more likely to be accepted for transfer if they come from an established institution with a rigurous program. Should you want more assistance with this, I think World Education Services (wes dot org) evaluates transcripts for this purpose.</p>
