echols excemption

im in echosl, i got a 3 in my apush (don’t ask) exam. i dont want to take it since i pretty much understand the course and dont want to take it. so i guess being in echols i dont have to take it anyway? what would hold me back?

Credits for the U.S. history I believe go to HIUS 201 and 202, which are surveys of American history. There are no courses which have this as a pre-requisite, though it’s useful in upper-division courses. So… you’ve got nothing to worry about.

For non-echols, it just means you wouldn’t be able to count 201 and 202 towards your general education requirements; obviously, this isn’t a concern for you.
