<p>About 8% of the incoming class in the College of Arts & Sciences are Echols Scholars. If you’re not invited to be one when you’re admitted, you can apply for Echols Scholar status once you’re UVa.</p>
<p>Re. Jefferson Scholars, there are around 40 Jeff Scholars in each class.</p>
