Eckerd College vs. UVM vs. Muhlenberg

Deciding between Eckerd College, UVM, and Muhlenberg… prices are similar after aid.
Major: Undecided. Will either be Biology or Journalism/Writing. I am a strong student with 5 APs and a 32 ACT, lots of activities, love art & horseback riding.

Eckerd Pros: warm (from northeast so appealing), beach, friendly vibe, marine bio. is amazing,
great art dept., and Honors College.
Cons: dad worried it’s a “party school” & not financially sound
UVM Pros: friendly liberal vibe, solid science and writing depts., can drive there, ski.
Cons: party school (not a partier), too big, not personal, too cold, not accepted
into Honors College (can apply for sophomore year).
Muhlenberg Pros: warmest, friendliest campus ever, admitted to "RJ Fellows"program so extra
perks with that, tons of student involvement.
Cons: near my hometown, not different enough. Thanks in advance!!

I decided to attend Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. They offered me the best financial aid, and they sealed the deal by really showing interest in me. Once I visited the beautiful campus, and felt the friendly vibe, that was it. And I am SO happy I chose Rhodes.
