I have had this now happen on two posts. The edit function didn’t work FIVE times on the first post.
So…I posted a second post explaining…but then the edit function decided to work. SO I tried to edit my second post, and again…the edit function won’t edit it to say deleted”.
ETA…I tried again and it worked…what’s the issue?
Adding…there seems to be a delayed reaction to edits. I just had this happen again…edit didn’t happen when I hit save edit. A couple of minutes later, I went to try again…and poof…my edit was there.
This has happened to me before, but not this many times in one morning.
I’m not experiencing any trouble (just tried it). @CC_Sorin - any suggestions for thumper1?
Fine my edit function is working.

Mine works fine. Perhaps there was some kind of system maintenance occuring?
Works fine for me, too. I cannot replicate it.
It’s fine now…I think. Just checking to see if it edits.
