"Election and Politics" forum is closed!

I am worried that we are going to have to do a limerick intervention at some point tonight.

Ha, ha, samurai. I think these are way above my skill set, so I have no ability to intevene (but doesn’t a limerick need 5 lines, so 07DAD needs one more)?

I can go for streudel. Of course chocolate cake, carrot cake or creme brulee would win me over any time. When it comes to dessert that somebody else makes, it’s good to be accomodating.

no need-- when the posts feel underhanded-- intentional or not–, with purposeful thread derailment, time to call it a day

How do you feel about Pepperidge Farms Turnovers from the freezer case?

Is that beneath you? ;)

My sister is the baker. She went to culinary school for fun and got a freaking Ph.D. in her field, too.(Jerkface) I have to settle for being the bartender.

She makes them fat and make them happy.

Someones little green behavior is showing.

It’s true. I am green with envy.

When my other sister and I had a job in college, this sister had to have two - at the same time. We get a BA, she beats us to a MA. We can simply never catch up.

The good news, is I can totally take her in a foot race. Or at thumb wars. I can make her blush with raunchy jokes and irritate her by telling her I was mom’s favorite.

I think it’s ironic that many people are blabing about how it wasn’t “educational” in a forum where the first page has a grand total of 3 (that I counted) threads about “education”.

Bravo on the hypocriticism, guys! BRAVO! :D

I see the limericks have lost appeal for you now and now you are on to making racist comments about my mother. ;)

You are just jealous. It’s not easy being a Landshark.

I hated the politics forum. The only thing I liked about it was that it kept those political discussions off the parent cafe. I really hope closing it doesn’t start a rush of political threads in parent cafe :(

edit - having just looked at the last page or two - should I have written my comment in limerick form?
