<p>Nxt year(my gr10 year), My choice of electives are: orchestra 10, photography11, and keyboarding11.</p>
<p>People told me that keyboarding sounds like a waste of time, and college admins will think that i chose keyboarding because it is an easy course. T.T I chose it cuz i like computers and im good at typing ;P. Will the college admins REALLY think i chose keyboarding for easy marks? and will this hurt me?</p>

<p>But if your counselor explains your choices (VERY limited) and says you had a genuine interest than I see no reason why they would hold it against you if they ever would have at all.</p>

some schools require keyboarding, so it’s not like it’s an uncommon course.
if you like it, take it…that’s my philosophy.</p>
<p>Keyboarding at my school is an absolute joke. The teacher just make sure that we’re at our computer typing on a typing software… so yes, it is a waste of time. You could do that at home on one of those free typing programs you find on the internet. Anyway, if you’re good at typing why bother taking the class?</p>
