I can’t speak for EE per se. My son majored in ME with a concentration in mechatronics, so he had some EE and CS, but those courses are taught through the ME department. He said those were very good.
The only true EE class he took was a graduate level class, 509 Computational Intelligence. I think he liked it because the material was interesting (see below), but I remember him remarking that the instructor wasn’t great.
