Apparently everyone. The newsmedia is having a good time with this one.

I can’t wait until Kristin Stewart goes to college so that everyone can forget this poor child.

t1388, that will be a sad day indeed. As much as the Emma thing is getting soooo old, I’d rather hear about her than the “best actress of our generation” - ugh. More like BLANDEST actress.

Hmm…Emma Watson is likely to increase the application number for Brown especially from people who don’t really care about the college but is obsessed with Emma Watson.

Even the professors were getting excited when I was at Brown for their summer program. “We got Hermione!”…Strangely enough, there were a lot of British kids attending the summer program (might have been the class, though) and the class was rather difficult to understand people in because of all the accents although I do love British accent…!

I’d really like to know what WOULD you say to Ms. Watson? casually, unobtrusively, so she would be comfortable, not wishing you would go away, hoping you might actually be an interesting person…

I is totally going to apply for the Emma Watson :D

It’s not her fame that I really care about, but she’s hot as **** and the fact that she’s an actress makes it that much better

tobeducated, you would ask, “hey, what’s your name?” :D

hahaha that would be great! and funny… and the she says “What!? you don’t know me?”

hahahahahhahahh

no, it’s true! hahahahha and then when she says “What!? you don’t know me?” I kiss her! just kidding!

EMMA WATSON GOES TO BROWN?!?!?!?!?! WHATTTT?! My mind is absoultely blown.
WOW.
Emma Watson was my IDOL when I was 12-13.
And Brown is my dream dream dream school.
Whoaaaaaa O:

PEOPLE ! Get this over with already!
4 freaking pages for such a thread :s
The deadline is only 11 days away and this is what you talk about !
instead of wasting ur time in such threads I think you should be focusing more on ur essays!

emma is in my daughters dorm. during move-in, i casually met her twice but just in passing. she has only participated in 1 unit mixer and showed up in a skirt and high heels in the grass. but she is typically gone on weekends. my daughter doesn’t have any classes with her and isn’t the type to go agog. more exciting for me was during move-in ashton kutcher, demi moore and bruce willis were in my hotel. but Brown’s admission rate this year is going to be very low as usual. good luck on RD… I’m sure ED was about 1% of what applied

who is emma watson

^ ok, this is really embarrassing! http://data-allocine.blogomaniac.fr/mdata/7/7/3/Z20060308204532387432377/img/emma_watson_5.jpg

bingo!

just kidding!

From what I’ve heard for students (undergrad/graduate) it really isn’t a big deal anymore when probably 99.7% of students at Brown read all 7 Harry Potter books. Once she goes off campus to places like Thayer Street/Providence Mall that is where all the commotion happens.

While I hate the hype (and the fact that Emma Watson seems to be all my non-Brown friends care about w/r/t my college life), people need to stop jumping down the throat of every person who mentions her. It is pretty exciting to see a celebrity off the screen, especially for people who grew up in towns where that sort of thing never happens. Give people a break: getting excited about seeing a star != celebrity worship.

i’m guilty of this :)

Did you see the commotion Harvard kids made at the Brown-Harvard game?

Bad taste fellas, bad taste. Also, when E-Dubs went to Yale to visit everyone in Commons stopped talking and started taking pictures with their cells-- part of the reason she’s rumored to have not gone (or maybe even apply).

Poseur, while I appreciate your defense, most of this stuff is crazy talk from people who need to take a chill pill.
