Hey everyone, I’m currently a student studying in the UK, London. I am writing my final year’s dissertation essay which is based around the emotional structure of film, and I am looking for some advice or help on a particular section. This section’s experiment will leave me with several clips of people’s faces as they watch different films. I’ve come to this forum as I’ve heard that the University of Wisconsin has a program on emotion and compassion, with emphasis on neuroscience substrates. I was looking to see if anyone with any knowledge at all in this field would be willing to help when the time comes, as it would involve simply watching through several clips and at key points plotting the viewers’ interest levels on a small scale based on their facial expressions.
