<p>Actually, that doesn’t surprise me much at all. IME, most of the highly gifted/intellectual/bright people I’ve met in my life tend to be introverts. </p>
<p>While there are some extroverted gifted/intellectual/bright folks…when comparing the ones I’ve met…including myself to our introverted counterparts…there’s no comparison. </p>
<p>From observing myself and other extroverts along with observing introverts…the former tend to be far too distracted being social, participating in the hubbub, trying to impress, and impatient rather than/to taking some necessarily time alone to actually learn about a given subject/field or the world around them in greater depth.</p>
