hi,

i am looking into the engineering school… however… I can not find the requirements/stats of current students.

thank you.

The entering class in 2004 had 1983 applicants, and admitted 1144 (58%). 545 matriculated, giving them a yield of 48%.

Mean GPAs for engineers in 2004 were 2.9, 2.9, 2.98, and 3.16 for each of the four classes.

I don’t believe they publish out of state admissions vs. in-state, nor have I seen separate SAT or HS GPA scores for engineering applicants.

Hope this helps.

It’s in the Data Catalog.

I found it. 713 Math, 656 Verbal for entering engineers in class of 2004.

You need to be able to swim in the data, young jedi!

thank you…

my stats are above both of those scores. as well as my gpa…

hhmm… I will be applying to the engineering school.

I think those gpa’s were for UVA students in the E-school, not admitted students HS gpa’s. Right???

Right. Heh, heh.

I could not find the admitted HS gpas. 85% were in the top 10% of their class in HS.
