Essay question clarification .. ?

<p>i’m applying to baruch honors and one of the essay is:</p>

<p>Please select one of the academic components of the Macaulay Honors College program and explain how you imagine that component will enhance your personal or academic growth. (3600 characters or less</p>

<p>my question is, is one of the academic components the Study Grant [in general?] , i’m asking this because the study grant is 7500$ and it can be used for independent research, study abroad opportunities, internships.</p>

<p>can I write about the study grant in general and talk about indep. research, study abroad, and internship ALL together? is that still considered one academic component or do i have to pick just one?</p>

<p>I would Imagine the grant is a component. As well as the free tuition, seminars etc. The grant is is probably the easiest to write about though. In addition, I would think that the seminars/internship/study abroad opportunities, as well as the special counselors are probably all considered “Academic components”.
