<p>For the general ASU application, there is no essay requirement. I’m not sure if there are different rules for that particular school though. Hopefully someone else can help you with that!</p>
<p>Computer Science is part of the Engineering school, so you would have to meet those GPA requirements as well.
Also, it is recommended that you are ready for calculus when you start, as the Major Map for CSE has MAT 265 - Calculus for Engineers.</p>
