<p>From TV to Twitter: How television and other media has impacted various generation’s views on society and directing their values and how the rapid advances in technology bombarding our generation with various media constantly is shortening our collective attention span.</p>
<p>A Study of Inter-Galactic Travel in George Lucas’s Star Wars, its Implications for the Present and Future of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, its Implications for the Present and Future of Hollywood and the Movie Industry, its Impact on James Cameron’s Creative Genius (Specifically in the Creation of the Dreamlike Alien World Pandora and the Occupants of the Aforementioned Dreamlike World) as well as his willingness to spend such prodigious and staggering sums of cash, the Realism of the concept of “Warp Speed,” and whether Luke and Leia would have been Morally Justified in Procreating prior to their knowledge of their own Sibling-hood.</p>
<p>My favorite titles are both short. We were supposed to analyze the poem “The Waking” by Theodore Roethke. My title was “Waking Up to Poetic Excellence”. The story gets better, though.</p>
<p>For the last essay, our English teacher went all-out, telling us about how much he loved colons, and even made sound effects when he read one. They were akin to firing a shotgun; it was really hilarious. So for this essay, most everyone had colons in their titles. But what the teacher didn’t expect was that one person’s title was just a single colon. Had us laughing for a good five minutes!</p>
