<p>What are the best types of graded essays to hand in with your application?</p>

<p>Should it be a thesis essay, a persuasive, or maybe even a research paper?</p>

<p>Also during the interview, what is the best type of things to write about yourself.</p>

<p>I sent an essay that compared Daphne du Maurier’s The Birds to Alfred Hitchcock’s movie adaptation. It was analytical and slightly opinion-based, and I think it was my best bet.</p>

<p>My essay was deeply bad… My classes had not covered any units where I had to turn in an essay. I ended up sending a random one about friendship in which was the only one I received back with the grade and teacher comments… but it didn’t end up counting for much because i got in. Or maybe it was a really good essay- but I doubt it…</p>

<p>as for the interview, talk/ write about things that set you appart from the mass amounts of other people applying-- something that defines you! Community serivce is HUGE X100. Be well rounded (sports, art music, service, etc…) don’t think about trying not to brag when you talk about yourself.</p>
