Can anyone tell me what the suspect the cost of attendance will be for the next school year?
I recently got my financial aid award and it really does not seem to be enough. So I’m wondering how much the award will actually take care of.
To clarify, for an in-state student.
Student Financial Services doesn’t have it yet. The Board of Visitors has to set it.Once it is final, it will be posted here: http://sfs.virginia.edu/cost/15-16
Call them about your award if you have questions. That’s what they are there for!
There was an article in the Washington Post that said tuition will be going up by about $500, and there will also be a special $1000 fee? surcharge? to fund financial aid for low income students. So, estimate around $1500 more than last year. These numbers were for in-state students and might not be final.
