<p>eugh, since clearly, the current news cycle (on sites like fivethirtyeight.com) is moving too slowly, and I have 3 midterms next week, so clearly i respond by getting my dopamine fix through looking at historical elections. eugh why are elections so addicting? isn’t it enough to know the details of every presidential election since 1796? </p>

<p>Umm… no.</p>

<p>I haven’t watched the news since last August (though I found out by word of mouth that the State of Union address was last week). The rest of the world could have exploded and I wouldn’t have a clue.</p>

<p>I make time for an hour and a half of news each day in NBC Nightly News and Countdown with Keith Olbermann. In addition, I read online blogs and newspapers.</p>

<p>They ARE addicting. Coakley vs Brown was disappointing, though.</p>
