Evaluation of Indian school marks for MIT

I don’t know why we are piling on someone who hasn’t asked for our feedback.

Tippu isn’t that what esconie said in that NDTV interview? =P

I’m sure he’s getting into one of the HYPSM’s though.

ani, u have good memory. i need a memory upgrade.

@tippu - Oh so sweet of that language… Yes that is read as “shatak” which means century…

@rohan - Thank u…
U r wrong … just check his “The School Boy” list… he has some olympiad ranks…

@aniruddh - lagta hain aap meri baaton ka bura maan gaye hain aur ab aap baat nahi karenge mujhse… haina??? (apologi…:frowning: )

@everyone - Guys, drop the topic “SHARAD VIVEK SAGAR”…
I introduced this topic to show u guys one of the future esconies and not to make it a burning topic of the reputed CC… So please excuse Mr. Sagar and focus upon ur applications… this is my humble request…

Tippu-not on CC,but by creating a whole website that reeks of display,he authorised the public to pass comments. That,I think, was the whole point of the website, isn’t it?
Anyway,I’ll stop now.

" what abt the ones who got Olympiad in July after 12th ? can they apply in the coming january( for MIT, Princeton…) .do u know anything abt age requirements? Olympiads are really helpful right ?. Please Reply"

** BuMp** Reply please , i thought ur interested in helping us .

What? I know the answer to your question, and I’ll post it here once this class finishes, but what do you mean by the above sentence?

@randeep - It seems you are on a gap year. You can apply, but don’t be in the notion that only having “Olympiad ranks” will get you in. As esconie said, many students with great performance at Olympiads are denied admissions to MIT n Stanford every year…

“** BuMp** Reply please , i thought ur interested in helping us.”
Whats this??? lol  :)

Esconie doesn’t exist for answering the queries on this forum.
She kindly obliges us by answering, however, she happens to have a life outside of CC at college.

And Oly are really helpful. They are regarded as ‘hooks’ by many.
Any national/international level competition holds prestige.
Unless it’s a handwriting competition or something.

Speaking of handwriting, the general handwriting level here is pathetic.

@blue_box - can u teach me how to quote the message of anyone in reply. There is a option below to check the box, but even after checking there is :(… pls hlp

Sure.
Just type:

[.q.u.o.t.e.] the sentence that you want to quote goes here [./.q.u.o.t.e]

Remove the ‘.’ from in between.
This will produce:

If you want to attribute the quote to someone, then do the following:

[.q.u.o.t.e.=“harisheena”]message[./.q.u.o.t.e]

Which will produce:

So it basically notes that you originally posted the stuff in the quotes. You will, of course, replace “harisheena” with whoever wrote the quote you’re quoting.

And don’t worry, the reply button doesn’t work for me either.

I participated in Sanskrit olympiad once.haha…Im sure that.is going to be my ‘outstanding’ EC :D

Sanskrit olympiad? My goodness, you know Sanskrit? It’s scary.

That was a great explanation… Thank you sooooooo much :)

was just practicing wat Mr. Blue explained…

1… 2… 3… testing testing
