My teacher offered extra credit to people who were present in class the day before spring break. She did not notify anyone of this extra credit and so people who were away from vacation did not have the opportunity to do this extra credit, as it was only available to those in class today. Is this allowed in school? I thought all students were supposed to get an equal opportunity for extra credit. Please let me know, I would like to take this up with the teacher.
Why would people be “away from vacation” on a class day? If you chose to skip a scheduled class day that’s your problem. You should be glad you just missed out on extra credit and she didn’t decided to give a test that day.
If you do try to bring this up with the teacher, I’m sure that she’ll tell you that all students that were in attendance the day before Spring Break, as they all should have been, were given an equal opportunity for extra credit.
