<p>Hope you got better news Katie. I might appeal, but I need to see on how I am going to go about it. Glad the waiting around is over.</p>
<p>My news is the same as yours. :-(. I am going to speak with someone in the department about appealing. I will probably appeal regardless just because I must know I did everything in my power to help my chances. Then I must decide on one of two things:
- send in my SIR for UCSD for Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (I might switch to Medi Arts)
or 2. Stay at SMC, take more media classes, strengthen my portfolio, network with ucla professors and alumni, and reapply.
It is a tough time,… :-/ I am not sure what to do. What are you planning on doing from here?</p>

<p>I called general inquires and advising and they told me to contact the department. I called Carolyn and left a vm. Still thinking about appealing but I need to get a hold of Carolyn.</p>
<p>I’m thinking about USC Roski and I got into CSULB Industrial Design.</p>
