Failed Grade Calculation

So I have miraculously failed a class twice and taking it the third time. Thankfully my university states that it would only calculate the best attempt in the average. So do they omit both zeros when they calculate the GPA or would only one zero would be replaced with the new grade while the other zero would remain pulling down my GPA? Please help!

A single course can only be counted once. So, only your best grade in that course would be counted in your average GPA. Currently, you have a single zero in your average GPA. If you get a 2.0 when you take the course again, the zero will be replaced by the 2.0.

What course is this?
