@rice00princess same as @Golfing7861 June 26/27

Congrats to everyone that has been accepted! Hope to see you all on the forty acres in the fall :)

@CPayne I just found out an hour ago that I’ve been accepted! Checked this morning and noon and it was still in review.

@mija15 post your stats? mine still in review

@DeeGeeErbear If I’ve been admitted & I already submitted my deposit and also registered for orientation, what would happen if I tried to change my major?

@CileyMyrus at this point you would have to contact admissions and seek an internal transfer application for your intended major. Otherwise, you have to spend at least a semester in what you got and transfer internally again in spring 2015! I would contact an admissions advisor to be sure!

Any questions regarding summer orientation or general UT Austin questions I’m happy to answer, just shoot me a message!

@DeeGeeErbear Is it hard to internally transfer into CNS?

@DeeGeeErbear where is a good location for apartments?

Hi everyone,
I have a question about the financial aid. I just received a package of FA which are Pell Grant, Texas Public Education Grant, and University Tuition Grant - Transfer. So are those Texas Public Education Grant, and University Tuition Grant scholarships? Because i am wondering if i will receive more scholarship in the next few months.

@mija15 Congratulations!

When do we receive our financial aid packages? I can’t make a decision without knowing my aid amount.

@rice00princess I don’t think it is that hard. You just have to fill out an application, have a 2.5 GPA, and possibly write an essay! Taking Electives in your desired major might be a good idea as well!

@mija15 I live in the Far West Apartments, and they are only about 20 minutes from campus. A lot of kids prefer west campus, but it can get pretty loud. Riverside is very affordable.

@rice00princess <a href=“Internal Transfer | College of Natural Sciences”>http://cns.utexas.edu/students/future/internal-transfer

CNS changed some of their requirements for internal transfers so check that out if you’re thinking of transferring in once you’re admitted.

Does anyone know if they would let me put off to the side my last two core classes for next summer so I can start my major classes this fall? After this semester at my CC I would only need a math and science class to finish my core but I would still be about 5 credit hours short of starting this fall as a junior. What I want to do is leave those two classes for next summer and start my major classes this fall. Basically I dont want to add on another semester to what should be just two years.

Also, if thats not possible, how many classes can you take per semester?

I’m CNS - computer science for my first major, and CNS- undeclared for my second. BUT - I’m taking my calculus right now. should i change my second major to UGS undeclared for a better chance?

why i am still waiting for cockrell…

@MeGYuan Same here…

Hey @MeGYuan international stds are not knowing about their decisions until June.
