Those of you guys who are living in a deluxe hall, you’re going to love it and have an amazing time and will be very sad to leave at the end of the school year. Don’t be bummed out if you don’t get the transfer-themed dorm (Gardenia, and for the first time, Holly 3rd and 4th floors will be transfer floors for next year). I myself got placed in Holly and got placed with mostly 2nd years but I made friends with a lot of them - no transfer “stigma” that so many people talk about - and the few transfers that were on the floor, I got to know and became friends to some degree with almost all of them.
You guys are in for a fun ride when the school year starts.
Hello Guys! I sent an electronic copy of Transcripts to the wrong departments at UCLA, do any of you know what email address electronic copies should be sent to ?
Drcheese, I don’t think students are allowed to send in electronic copies because they can be manipulated. Only the CC can send them in. There is nothing mentioned about students emailing them in on the admissions transcripts page. However, I’m sure you can hand deliver sealed transcripts. The address for delivery is:

@drcheese see fullload’s post (#4644), thats the right address. Do you go to SMC? When I did it through their electronic service they had the right address already inputted.
@luckie1367 I didn’t attend SMC, but the transcripts from my CC have already been received by UCLA, but I took an online course through BYU independent study and I can request to have them send transcripts directly to any email. However, I think am just going to have to order an actual copy through the mail. I am afraid though, as I am well past the June 1st deadline.
@luckie1367 i am planning to do the honors for like english and some of my GEs. I have a question, you know for honors courses, does it boost your gpa or something? Is it similar to how ap classes were back in high school?

Hi guys, do you know if it looks bad on your app if you went to like 4 different Community colleges with none of the pre reqs done at the college I will use to apply for transfer. It’s because there’s only this one college that offers one of my pre reqs, and the rest is because i have to organize my classes around to get enough honors credit for TAP program :(( Thank you guyss!!!
@starkali I’m pretty sure the deadline has passed for TSP. Last Thursday we got our acceptances to TSP which we applied for during the month of May. You can maybe call and see if you could still join though, It never hurts to ask.
