Fall 2015 UCLA transfer students

Just do both, since whats the worse that can happen if you spend the time to do it? You waste 2hrs?

Plus, the Financial one also covered things like budgeting, which is a universally needed skill!

@luckie1367 I don’t mind taking the course at all, I just knew there were two different courses offered regarding finances, I just didn’t know which was required! Thanks

Oh! My bad then!

I’d take the one associated with AlcoholEdu, and if you aren’t taking loans, forget about the other one.

JULY ORIENTATION PEOPLE:

Orientation costs are now up on BruinBill, with payment due September 20th!

If you tried to register for the courses via the email the school sent out, they gave the wrong registration code (transfers: gobruinstf) but it is really gobruinstr. http:// www .alcoholedu. ucla.edu/ overview

FYI Middle Class scholarships are posted, if anyone is curious

Where are middle class scholarships posted

https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/logon.asp @Icj1994,

I got more than expected, which was nice! :-bd

Thanks! How do we apply that to our FAN?

I believe the state releases it to UCLA…

MY PARKING JUST GOT APPROVED

I can keep my job!

:expressionless: %-( >:P lol

Sorry :-S

This is the first time in my life that I’m actually glad I don’t have a drivers licence I think … as I don’t have to worry about the parking situation :open_mouth:

I can’t wait for school to start

Glad that there’s a thread started already for Fall 2015 applicants!
I was reading all 8 pages of the posts on this dicussion before I finally decided to post here, but does anybody know if 3 years of a foreign language in HS satisfies the IGETC foreign language requirement? I am a political science major (recently switched over from economics), and I just started my second year at my CC (last year)!
I did some research and I know two year in high school can satisfy this requirement, but just double checking & trying to be safe than sorry!

@by3000 If your CC has your HS transcripts on file, it does satisfy the IGETC foreign language requirement. Good luck!

Might be a dumb question, but do our meal plans have restrictions on where we can/cannot eat on campus? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, you should be okay @by3000, since I think the requirement is like 2 years HS language with C or higher.

Also, I just got a really nice letter ad some car decals in the mail :x

I AM SO EXCITED FOR SCHOOL TO START
