Fall 2015 UCLA transfer students

32 inches isn’t that big. I would say it’s ok, but it’s going to be on a table is all, as it can’t be mounted on a wall. Space is limited, which I guess would be only issue. But they’re pretty flat.

A typical computer monitor is around 20". A laptop is about 14". There’s a reference for you.

thanks @anikom15!

Thanks, guys! I think I’m going to be fine, judging from staying in Rieber for orientation, but I haven’t been inside an actual deluxe double.

@apocalypso my D took a 32 inch TV but decided she didn’t want it after all. She put it on top of a
“her” 3 drawer dresser and then didn’t have the “counter space” she needed for other things.

GUESS WHO GOT A PARKING PERMIT!! WOHOO! LOT 7 :(( =D> \m/

Can’t wait to meet all my AB peeps! We’ve got some great programming in the works for zero week :slight_smile:

Congrats @Icj1994!

UCLA vs VA FOOTBALL !!!

Wow I wish I was there!

Its just starting on Fox :slight_smile:

Your spirit is amusing :slight_smile:

So the original person I was supposed to room with has An opening in her apartment. Her original roommate switched to another building and her housing portal says there’s no one in her place, do you guys think there’s a possibility I could switch to her building? I had originally put this location in my application and in my CAR

Do we get spring break? I can’t find it online. I’m assuming that the break between winter and spring is not spring break.

I think it is b/n winter and spring quarter.

When are our loans supposed to be dispersed?

@History2Law spring break is the week after winter quarter finals/week before the start of spring quarter

Is there any way to mail our @ ucla.edu email the default email for receiving email from professors and such?

@fncrane
Professors will only send emails to your ucla.edu address; those are the only email addresses they’ll have on file to contact you with.

@anikom15
You should’ve gotten an email from the UCLA registrar giving you the exact date. I believe September 14th is when loans and refunds will be dispersed.

@Cayton oh okay! I got confused because I got an email from my professor via CCLE and it was sent to my regular yahoo email :confused:

@fncrane
Hmm, I’m guessing that you didn’t set your ucla.edu address as the default contact address on MyUCLA. If you do, then you shouldn’t be getting emails from UCLA or its staff sent to your Yahoo email address.

See if the email address you have on file with UCLA is your ucla.edu address or your Yahoo address.

Do I need someone with me on move-in day? I’m reading through the permit and it seems like a two-man job.

I believe you cannot leave your car unattended in the unloading zone.
