Fall 2016 Applying as a Transfer BUT Applying ED

is it possible to apply ED as a transfer? i know the deadline for transfers is February 1st, but i figure if i get it in by November 1st, maybe i will have a stronger chance?

looking to major in marketing - i’m a hispanic white male soph will be going into UVA as a junior,

3.3 GPA

  • Lots of community service & Activities
  • Out of state
  • Marketing coordinator at previous college for events
  • Strong personal Essay
  • College Athlete Obtaining Business Associates degree in May
  • 1 or 2 Strong Recommendation Letters

Any suggestions on what else i should list to have a better chance?

Few things-

No, there is no applying ED as a transfer. Also, the deadline is certainly not February first, it’s March first.
Either way, there is no benefit to applying early.

More importantly to all of this, UVa has no marketing major. McIntire has a marketing concentration, but if you’re applying to McIntire you will find that your stats don’t put you in a good position for it.
