Does anyone know if you had to pay the enrollment fee first before receiving a financial aid reward letter???

@bvo112 I’m assuming you did so congratulations! And I think they’ll probably send you your financial aid package a little later so you have time to compare packages if you applied to other schools. If you don’t mind me asking, which school were you accepted into?
Hope decision comes out soon. I’m not sure if I should pay deposit for university of toronto. it needs to be done by 5/1… any suggestion would be appreciated

@dingko Just call the school you applied to and say that you need a decision before 5/1. I’m sure they will let you know before that
Question: My financial aid stuff was all complete, and just out of pure anxiety I looked at the check application status and financial aid stuff again, and something was weird. It shows that my W-2 and income tax return are required from the year 2016 for the aid year 2017. Like next year stuff. Is this a sign? Is anyone else getting this?
@Brycifer That’s interesting! Hm idk, I would imagine if you were to attend, your financial aid for fall 2016 would be based on 2015’s tax returns. But honestly that’s a good sign!
I’m pretty sure that after you get your decision, you will get a package on the mail welcoming you and financial aid should be on that. If not, it would be mailed to you a couple of days after. So yes, you will know the financial aid awarded before the enrollment deposit is due.

Well, at this point where there is still missing materials for my application, I am hopeless. It has been more than 2 months–not 2 weeks–since I sent the materials… and they’ve kept saying “wait,”“we will let you know about the missing materials.” I think the materials are literally “missing” because other materials, which was checked in February, were sent out together with the missing materials.
I applied early because It is a rolling admission and I was not confident. Well, no point at this time…

@jackpotgirl777 have you tried sending the missing documents again but by fax? At this point anyone who has unchecked materials should be doing this because even if they do have them and admissions is behind, you’ll never really know if they do have them so you might as well be sure they’ll check them off soon.

did you make a photocopy of your stuff? I sent all my stuff arond 2/3 weeks ago and I just got it checked off. have you also called them?
Tbh it’s a little bit shameful how backed up they are…
I wonder if this all will affect when we get our decisions…
