This is worrisome… Why didn’t I receive any email asking for course descriptions?

@bvo112 My stats aren’t the greatest, but I’ll post them
College GPA: 3.1 (low but I had a reason for this and I guess Cornell was able to look past it)
HS GPA: 3.3 (I graduated from a really good and competitive high school in NYC but I don’t think my high school stuff really mattered cause I was applying as a junior)
SAT: 2280 (780 reading, 800 math, 700 writing)
Great EC’s - I did an internship last summer and I’m very active in clubs at my school and I hold a couple leadership positions in them
Recommendations - Really good, one of them was from a well-known engineering professor at my college and another was from a professor who used to teach at Columbia
Essays - It’s hard to determine how good one’s own essays are, but tbh I think mine were really good and I was impressed by my essays
I also included a resume that was pretty good
Does anyone know they are getting a notification tomorrow at 10 am or do they only come out online on Tuesdays?
They will come out on Tuesdays.
From past year’s thread it seems that next week is also gonna be a rejection week with very few acceptances
The first 12 persons who reported back were all rejected in the same week last year…

I was accepted CAS on 4/26. Regular transfer not GT. I think they are reporting in the order they received applications. Don"t read into it.

@AimHighandFight I submitted it on Mar 14. But they just missed my midterm report. I phoned them last week and they finally had the midterm report check off. So my application has just been sent for review for maybe two or three days?

Do you think the course descriptions will be a factor for the committee to decide the application?

Since my college is not in the instruction of English so I need to translate them…I am just worried how can the committee tell whether the course descriptions are decent or not. If they think the courses are not transferable, will it jeopardize my application?
