I just got accepted into the college of engineering for computer engineering this morning!

GPA: 3.81
Transferring from Miami Dade College
I honestly thought my essays were pretty bad, but maybe not.

Good luck everybody!

I got accepted as well.

Cumulative GPA: 3.35
Engineering GPA: 3.51

Cant believe haha

@drdreidel @Throwaway552 @ahn2390 Congrats! How did you guys find out?

Wolverine Access.

@drdreidel @ahn2390 @Throwaway552 @spiritualpoverty Congratulations! Did you all complete your prereqs before the application deadline?

No, I won’t have my prereqs finished until early August.

When you all say you found your decision on wolverine access, do you mean that there was a “view decision” link available after clicking on “application status”?

Yes. They didn’t send an email until today, and I have yet to receive a letter.

I found it out via wolverine access and got the decision mail the day after. I finished the prereqs this spring.

@ahn2390 @drdreidel did you note that on your application? I haven’t heard anything yet, and despite maintaining a very good GPA, I suspected that my not having finished on of my prereqs until after this summer semester would be an issue, as I didn’t note anywhere on my application that I was taking it. From what you guys are saying, perhaps not. We’ll see.

Accepted to Chemical Engineering!

Anyone else kind of annoyed with the one week time frame to make a decision?

@Engineerr @aggietransfer I found out through wolverine access. I actually submitted my application 1.5 hours after the deadline because I completely forgot about it lol. In terms of credits, I have not done too many engineering courses, just an intro C programming class and a CAD design class, but I have a 4.0 in my math and science courses. I got up to differential equations in math, physics 2 in… physics, and I took one chem and one biology course. I had 3 letters of recommendations from professors, and I did a few extracurriculars (a sport and tutoring). Again, so you don’t have to find my last post, I had a 3.81 (now a 3.83) gpa. I did some honors classes too. Hope this helps, good luck again.

@aggietransfer Just saw your latest post after I posted mine lol. Congrats! I really don’t like the time frame either. I am still waiting for an appeal and waitlist response, and I am a little torn between BU and Umich. I was hoping to visit both but I can’t in this time frame. Im also waiting for MIT, but I am keeping a realistic pessimism about that

Hi Wolverines and Umich applicants,

Congratulations to all the applicants who are accepted by Umich! I have applied for Aerospace Engineering program 4 and a half months ago. Currently, I am still waiting for the decision to release as well. Any Aero applicants here?

@Advanium yes.

Hi @Engineerr , hopefully we will get accepted soon and other applicants as well. I thought I was the only Aero applicant here.

Accepted into Chemical Engineering!

Now the question is… is there even any housing left by now?

Congratulation @TheDiego. I am pretty sure there is.

Question: I still haven’t received any information on scholarships. Am I too assume I didn’t receive anything? Has anyone else received any information?
