@williamyang O I will, don’t worry about that. What I’m thinking now is that my counselor was required to take some action personally on my part; is this the case or does the college automatically send my transcripts out?
I would have sent out the GPA verification form and all that myself only their website encouraged me to check if my college does that. I attend a pretty good CCC too, so I’ll be sure to chew someone out for this.
The college should have done something about this automatically.
@williamyang Right, that’s what I thought too. So let me ask you this: what do you see when you look login and look at your application status and the “View My Award Detail” page? For me it says “Application has been processed” but I don’t see my GPA anywhere in the details section and all three grants are “Not Awarded”.
Is it true that some ppl have different view on the UCLA myApplication website?
I heard that some ppl have more than ‘status’ and ‘contact us’ at the left hand side…when we login to our myAPP for ucla…I only have those two categories…
Mine looks the same – just status and contact us.
Does cal grant only go to a certain income bracket?
@TransfertoUCLA some people have their UCLA ID, so they can access other parts of the website. They received it as a result of taking summer classes there or after asking UCLA a question during this application cycle (it’s listed somewhere in their response). The applicant portal is separate

Guys. I got waitlisted for UCI today. I guess it’s because my major is Linguistics and I applied as Psychology major.
Applied for Psychology major… Other UCs are all Linguistics major.
GPA: 3.55
Major GPA(for linguistics): 3.82
IGETC: completed
Pre-reqs for Psychology: I didnt complete 3-4…cuz my major is linguistics baiscally?..
Applied: UCSB,UDC,UCR,UIUC,ASU,UCSD,UCLA,UCB,UCI
Accepted: UCSB, UCD, UCR, UIUC, ASU
Pending: UCSD, UCLA, UCB
Waitlisted: UCI
What are your opinions? …You think it’s because I didnt complete major reqs for Psychology? or anything else?

@TransfertoUCLA It is most likely because you didn’t finish the major classes since you have been accepted to other schools as a linguistics major. Don’t stress you’re good!
@TransfertoUCLA One of my close friends got rejected from UCLA but accepted to Berkeley last year because she didn’t finish all the pre-reqs for her intended major for LA. I think it varies from school to school. Don’t worry too much! And congrats on your acceptances so far

my friend got admitted to UCLA on april 22nd last year… so i would probably still check. if nothing today then wednesday is for sure
So nerve wrecking 
I’ve already been admitted to UCI, UCD, AND UCSD but UCLA and Cal are my top choices so this upcoming week is going to be the death of me!
April 22nd was a Friday last year haha, they aren’t going to release until the 26th :-SS
@reesh april 22 last year was a Friday that was when ucla did decisions for all transfer cause I applied last time .For some odd reason they changed it this year so I am surprised somebody was accepted on Saturday today
@“osazuwa ogbeide” i don’t think that person got accepted into LA. I think they posted in the wrong thread bc they said “see everyone in the LA and Cal threads” when this is the LA thread
