FALL 2017 UCLA OFFICIAL TRANSFER THREAD

The automated message from UCLA said decisions would be released by 5pm but I’m hoping for it to be earlier

I have so much homework to do in the next couple days but I can’t concentrate :frowning:

I’ve been so nervous, I finished all my homework and studied for everything I need to for the next 2 weeks… now I’m literally sitting here staring at the clock until Wednesday. Why did I do this to myself

Literally ditching class to take naps so the day goes by faster, ugh I cannnnnnn’t

Spent last week (spring break) refreshing and thinking of all the scenarios for these last 2 decisions :’(

i’m just gonna go on here to countdown from now on til wednesday lol. 53 more hours.

Last year the decisions got released exactly on 5:00PM, but then again they didn’t delay decisions last year to Wednesday…

i find it more bearable to count down in hours than days

Anybody here from Glendale Community College?

going out to buy the ice cream I’ll be eating wednesday night…lol wish I could buy alcohol too but i’m underage

I have tests in o chem and physics on Wednesday :(( I seiously can’t handle all of this stress! As soon as both tests are done I’m just going to take a looong nap until 5!!

@futurelawyer88 that’s productive though!! Good for you. I’m hoping the craziness of this week will distract me enough from decisions.

@LynAmmo when it says non-ASSIST vs ASSIST certified courses what will UCLA look at? bc I’m pretty sure my courses at my previous college will not transfer over :confused:

Does anybody have any suggestions as to how long I should leave my lasagna in the oven?

Getting damn nervous and insecure?? Can anyone chance me?

Transferring from Mt. San Antonio College (Walnut, CA)

Admitted to: UCI, UCSD, UCSB

@Panitaispretty Until 5:00pm

Just to be 100% clear in regards to TAP, being TAP certified means that our application was looked at prior to other non-TAp applicants, and we are equally considered for our alternate major if not admitted for our first choice right??

@bigvoot HAHAHA

@juliamarie15 If it’s assist certified it calculates into your UC GPA. Since I’m assuming you mean university they look at those on a case by case basis, so they vary. Let’s say you took an Anthro course at a university, on assist/uctap it could show up as not listed, but if they look up your course itself and it meets the requirements needed to be UC transferable they may give you the units and that would then be calculated into your UC GPA. For university classes though, you definitely need to see a counselor to see which one they’ll take or which one they won’t, so you can know your GPA for sure. I doubt a lot from your uni will transfer, but still make sure.

@uclahopeful2017 I have the same question as you. Im a com sci major and it is under engineering college which is excluded from TAP. But I am still TAP certified and my alt major is math so does TAP still…work for cases like mine??
