I’ve been lurking in this thread for a few days and haven’t commented. I’m a four year OOS -> CCC transfer. But I’m a CA resident. So idk what I have in terms of transferable credit/prerequisites. V nervous and trying to study for a physical anthro midterm. Oh and I applied for anthro at UCLA.
Damn it, Im like a pretty calm person compared to a lot of other people on CC and now my stomach is hurting real bad
I’m planning to just log in and check. UCSD decisions came out yesterday (I got rejected, 4.0 English major) and I never even got an email about the decision. Still haven’t received anything from them.
@playadeling I plan on checking the portal. UCSD and UCD emailed me about an hour and a half after I got in. UCI and UCSB didn’t even email me, I just had to check the portal. Thankfully I got into all of them, but if I had only checked my email, I would still be waiting on a lot of schools lmaoo
can someone confirm if ucla sent anybody an email early today saying decision will be out because i didnt get that
@“osazuwa ogbeide” I’m not positive but I’m pretty sure they emailed decisions and that was a reply. I didn’t get an email either

@mjstewart1224 wow! 4.0 and got denied? I’m sorry to hear that! That is definitely disheartening for the rest of us English majors but I am hoping for good news for all of us today! What do you think was a potential factor as to why you weren’t accepted for SD? Missing prerequisites? Are you TAP-certified? EC’s?
@transfer510 Hi! I finished all the pre-reqs my school offered, which is all except the three programming classes needed. Are those the classes you need also?
@“osazuwa ogbeide” No dont worry, there wasnt an email like that. Some people were replied to by saying you cant update your application now because the decision will come out this evening.
@misskelseyk could that be a sign because why would they not send email out to everyone notifying them
@“osazuwa ogbeide” and @misskelseyk people have been calling and an automated voicemail says that they will be released after 5pm on 4/26
@“osazuwa ogbeide” it’s definitely not a sign, if you emailed admissions right now they would email you back with the same answer. 
@nowucme that what i got i wanted to update something last week and they responded today saying that decision will come out this evening we know longer will be taking updates basically. what your major
@sam983 I’m cognitive science as well with my CC gpa being 3.68 and only 2 pre-req missing (comp sci) and calc 2. Why do you think you will get denied? Do you have decent EC’s or TAP?

is anybody else here a cognitive science major? I honestly have so much hope because the 2015 admit rate for cogsci was 54 percent and as of last year its 29 percent. So im crossing my fingers AHHHHH
literally had to leave my calculus class to cope with the anxiety of decisions. I hope we all get in. I really do
as long as you havbe all pre req done you should be fine i think!
