Guys relax OK, if they haven’t sent me an invite it’s because no one has received one
Lol
i’m assuming the regents can also come at different times because everyone in here mentioned people getting it the Wednesday of the week before decision week but someone i talked to got his on the day before decisions.
So many people are checking their inbox right now… Lol
Anyone recive upgrade?
4.00 CS applicant here. Did not receive anything yet. Anyone else have any luck?
I don’t think anyone received an email. What is going onnnn. I’m over stressing about this! I spent all day trying to distract myself
Hey @lovelyyliz, would you mind sharing your stats? I’m not expecting one, but I would love to know who they send the invitations to.
Nothing for me either…
Can anyone tell me the general requirements to receive this invitation? I can’t seem to find that online.
I’ve been awaiting the regents invite as well. It varies from year to year. Two years ago (if i’m not mistaken), invites were sent them out after the admission decision date.
@andrewjchang Dang, that’s so true.
I remember I was a basketcase. It’s pretty normal. It is YUGE. Good luck everyone. [-O<
I have another question, so when TAU updates began we were required to update our app and indicate which classes we would be taking in the spring. Does it matter if I put the spring classes as “planned” or did it have to be as “in progress”? I didn’t put in progress because at the time I updated my app, my semester hadn’t started. As I look at this thread I see that the update went on through March 31st so I’m a little uncertain on if my indications of my spring course work wasn’t in correct and if it jeopardized my chances.
@uclahopeful2017 I honestly think you’ll be fine. I didn’t notice I had my courses listed as PL until March. It’s easy to forget, I’m sure they’ve dealt with it in the past. As long as it’s listed, they’re assuming you’re going to take it. Either way you’ll find out in a couple days. I SERIOUSLY doubt you will have to appeal, but definitely look it up on cc or call UCLA, I’m sure someone has made the mistake in the past.
Being from the 2014 transfer thread, I know many of you are anxious. View it as a final exam, after the various stages of nervousness, you just want it to be over with. Do not view it as Judgement Day, view it as a day when life will go on and so will you. Granted there will be different sets of emotions but whatever your emotions are, continue your academic journey with your head held up high.
Best of luck to all.
P.S. If any history majors have questions about UCLA, i.e. courses to take, please, feel free to ask me.
@Tik1127 Well I for one consider it to be Judgement Day, I even have a Judgement Day themed count down to that effect: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/launch?iso=20170421T18&p0=137&msg=The+Rapture&font=cursive
Can someone chance for me?
Applying from a CCC as an instate student.
Major: Economics
Alt major: Statistics
GPA: 3.8
Major GPA: 4.0 (not including my last econ class that I will finish at the end of spring)
IGETC: All done by the end of spring
Pre-reqs: last class done by the end of spring
TAP: Yes
EC’s: working part time, volunteer work
Essay: 6-7/10?
I dont think you would get in. How about waiting until next friday for the official answer from the school?
Why wouldn’t he/she get in? Pretty good GPA for Econ and a higher one for statistics. But honestly, yeah, just wait and find out in a couple days, there’s nothing anyone of us can do to change our apps. There’s no amount of advice that could be given (at this point) to change the decision they’ve most likely already made.
I’ve been freaking out all this week not doing homework, etc just to end up getting in on Thursday and having it rescinded because I end up failing my classes. How it’s gonna turn out is how it’s gonna turn out. Good luck to all.
